Awesome staff ... If you're traveling and want a friendly pub to enjoy a cold one, come to McGinty's. On Sunday nites some of the locals pick up their Irish musical instruments for a jam session.... With a mix of bagpipes, fiddles, spoons, and flues, it's a fun time. Regardless of which night (or day), you can relax and enjoy great mixed drinks or fresh pints.

If you love a damn good Guinness (as I do) then get in! Lovely feel to the bar, awesome pint and very relaxing!

Great time here passing though. Bartender was awesome, locals were a blast, beers were great. Good memories had here.

Loved a Guiness at this bar. Has an Irish feel to the bar. They do have shirts fo sale. Would definitely return.

So sweet & charming people. I love Irish music because it has a grief even if its melody is major. Last night they were playing Irish music in live. I highly recommend this pub to all the people who love music and beer. Advantage: Kilkenny is on tap!!

This is a great place to hang out and have a drink, especially a Guinness! Possibly the best on tap Guinness on the east coast. With a nice atmosphere, good music and friendly company it’s a great stop in while you’re travelling or night for locals.

A quintessential Cairns experience. This is a bar, nor a pub. Always nice to put your foot on the brass rail. Owner is lovely, service is 11/10. Highly recommend. Good place to find a new favourite drink. Reasonable prices as well, so feel free to have 2 or 3 rounds.
